1. What TheOneCV Does

TheOneCV (theonecv.com) is an AI-powered CV rewriting service. You upload your CV, complete a short AI interview, and receive a professionally rewritten CV as a PDF. The rewriting is performed using AI technology (Anthropic/Claude). This is a document rewriting service, not career coaching, recruitment, or job placement.

2. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, truthful information in your CV and during the interview. You confirm you own or have the right to use all content you upload. You must not upload content that is illegal, fraudulent, or belongs to someone else.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is collected via Paddle at checkout. All sales are final. No refunds will be issued, except as described below. By completing payment, you acknowledge that your rewritten CV will be generated immediately and that the digital nature of the service means the work cannot be undone.

The AI Test Guarantee. If you paste both your original and rewritten CV into any major AI assistant (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) and it does not recommend the rewritten version, you are entitled to a full refund. Email hello@theonecv.com with a screenshot of the result. Refunds under this guarantee will be processed within 5 business days.

4. Intellectual Property

You own your CV, both the original you upload and the rewritten version you receive. We do not claim any ownership over your content. We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable data to improve our service.

5. No Guarantees

A better CV does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment. Results vary depending on your experience, the roles you apply for, and factors outside our control. We make no promises about career outcomes.

6. Limitation of Liability

TheOneCV is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the UAE.
